Hi Hassan, I can confirm your findings - or rather not-findings at: http://pdf.alhayat.com/y2003/m07/07-2003/Article-20030711-51b2179d-c0a8-01ed -0060-e9540fc53160/story.html Nr. 14719 Date: 2003/07/12 Meanwhile I've received the French and Italian versions of their article also showing that odd al-Hayat reference. But wouldn't be too astonishing if the latter translations were based on the English text. And yes: MEMRI offers to provide the original (Arabic) articles in case of interest. So one should take them by their word(s) and contact them. MEMRI could spare itself and readers a lot of inconvenience if a) they indicated the URLs and b) set up an doc archive with easily accessible Arabic originals which would be especially fine in case of non-online publications. Providing that means for scrutiny and checks on their own spur will surely earn them some credibility points. Certainly it was not in the issue of July 12th, if the online issue is identical to the printed issue. I only went through the copy provided by MEMRI, claimed to be published by al-Hayat. I intend to ask MMEMRI about the correct issue number. Was the date perhaps wrong, or the newspaper's name?? Or…??? Best HZ __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? SBC Yahoo!
