Today Foreign secretary Robin Cook held a meeting in London, described as a "brainstorming" session on providing food and medicine to the Iraqi people. Various NGO's were present as well as governmental representatives though apparently it was boycotted by the Organization of Arab States (or is it called the Organization for Arab Unity ?). Tomorrow there is going to be a press conference held about yesterday's meeting. There will be a vigil outside the Foreign Office (on Whitehall) between 12 noon and 1 pm tomorrow, Tuesday 21st April. Phone either David Polden (ARROW) on 0171 607 2302 or Gabriel Carlyle 01865 276012. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a discussion list run by Campaign Against Sanctions on Iraq.
