The proposed US and Britidh bombing campaign has not been authorised by the UN Security Council, will cause "unpredictably heavy civilian casualties " (International Herald Tribune, 12 Nov.) and will terminate the monitoring process that the MOD has warned is essential to prevent Iraq from restarting its unconventional weapons programmes. LIFT THE ECONOMIC SANCTIONS.
