Subject: [iac-disc.] Day of Silence for Iraq, Nov. 11

** please circulate **

Dear supporter of Iraqi children,

Since the UN sanctions were imposed on Iraq, over ONE MILLION innocent Iraqis have died, above the
natural death rate. Over FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND of these have been children. FIVE THOUSAND children
continue
to die every month.

Enough is enough.

Show your solidarity for the Iraqi people by participating in an international day of demonstration
and prayer:

The interNational Day of Silence for the Children of Iraq
November 11, 2000

One hour of the Day of Silence (12-1 Pacific Standard Time) will be an internationally recognized
hour of silence, devoted to reflection and prayer for the children of Iraq.
