John Smith invites my comments on various aspects of British policy towards Iraq in the 80s. I am not entirely sure what his questions have to do with the purpose of this List but I am clear that I do not have the time to do his research for him in the public documents of the period. I am however happy to correct from memory factual errors, of the kind on which I have already commented, as and when I spot them.
