Re: [casi] Blair's speech -- keep the momentum going










Blair's speech is very worrying - he's trying to save his own skin. Whereas Bush did
actually allow for the possibility of SH staying in power - the first time by any president
since the Gulf War - Blair has now moved the other way.

A powerful rebuff to Blair's approach is the point that the US/UK are responsible for
more Iraqi deaths than SH. Blair is quite happy to talk to Iraqi refugees and use them for
his own ends. Has he yet talked to Denis Halliday or Von Sponeck about the
devastation of the sanctions?
