wrt US contracts: Today's Guardian lists airbases US plans keep in Iraq: US 'to keep bases in Iraq' http://tinyurl.com/9y74 Interestingly, one of the pending USAID contracts is for airport management. I don't think its a coincidence. Agency: USAID Date of RFP: February 19, 2003 Nature of work: Airport Administration. Management of humanitarian and trans-shipment operations by air.
