On 26th March, I had a phone conference with John Reid MP. I asked a question along the lines of "If Saddam had WMD and could fire them in 45 minutes why did we line up hundreds of thousands of troops on the border and tell Iraq it had 48 hours to drop chemical, biological and nuclear weapons on them?" He stated TWICE that the Iraqis needed more than 48 hours to use WDM, but that they definately had WDM. I can prove this if nessersary - there were quite a few people there. Could be pretty hot stuff (as Reid is on the cabinet I believe - and is Chair of the Labour Party), and as Blair said the dossier was totally accurate to the best of his knowledge. One of them lied. What to do with this? Alun Harford __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
