http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/2965150.stm I'm afraid that the BBC is actively playing its part in rewriting the history of Iraq! This story simply quotes USAid - hardly a neutral organisation. This story, like so many others that you are printing, does not properly account for the devastation caused by sanctions and the US & UK holds. You should attempt to get another view. It is also sensible to use 1990 as a baseline. Mark Parkinson Bodmin Cornwall _______________________________________________ Sent via the discussion list of the Campaign Against Sanctions on Iraq.
