[casi] Reconstructing Iraq lecture in Parliament, Thursday 27th, 6pm

Dr Simon Chesterman, Justin Alexander

Thursday 27 November, 6.00 pm, Committee room 6, Houses of Parliament,
London

The reconstruction of Iraq is proving much more difficult than its
military conquest as several obstacles are in the way of the
establishment of a free and independent country.
Justin Alexander, coordinator at Jubilee Iraq, and Dr Simon Chesterman,
Senior Associate at the International Peace Academy, will show debt and
governance issues affect economic reconstruction and nation-building.

Organised in co-operation with the All-Party Group For World Government
