We all know that the sanctions and bombing caused massive suffering, still continuing. A glance at the evidence on the CASI site is all we need, but there's plenty of other sources as Felicity pointed out. It seems there are people who either can't be bothered to read that evidence, or who may deliberately ignore it, for whatever reasons. I suggest we don't waste too much time, effort and energy responding to these people. It think our efforts are better concentrated on our own officials.
